Dr. Kristine Marbell-Pierre is a Clinical Psychologist and the head of psychological services at Mission Health Specialists, Ghana. She has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Clark University in Massachusetts, and completed her pre- and post-doctoral training at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School in 2014 and 2015 respectively. She went on to work as a Staff Psychologist in Massachusettes, providing treatment to children and families. In 2016, she moved back to her home country, Ghana, and led the Counselling team at Ghana International Schoool for 8 years, from 2016 - 2024, after which she moved into private practice, with the goal of making her services more accessible to families in Ghana and abroad. She is licensed and practicing in Accra, Ghana, and is the Head of Psychology at Mission Specialists (Mission Clinic), a family business, in Kokomlemle. She aims to bring hope and healing to individuals and families by providing tried and tested evidence-based therapy. She has been interviewed by the BBC about her research on successful parenting strategies across cultures.
